BioNyt (BioNews)
– also called: BioNyt Videnskabens Verden (BioNews Science World)

was started by me in December 1980. I wanted to make a forum for my articles about biology and other life science topics.

Now, I have written the journal – that is, all the articles in the journal except a handful made by other people in close to 40 years.

It has been very engaging – interesting and time filling. I have not had an income by this, probably because I have no interest in marketing and that sort of things. In 2018 there is about 450 subscribers. I find it more interesting to dig down into subjects I don't know anything about – and pop up with interesting experiences.

All articles are in Danish. I have often made drawings – sometimes funny ones – and lately I have began to use digital photos. I have been around the world and use many of the photos I have taken in Australia, HongKong, Europe, Greenland and elsewhere.

However, very often I am in need of some special photos. I will be very thankful if you will allow me to use some of your photos for the journal.

BioNyt Videnskabens Verden (www.bionyt.dk) er Danmarks ældste populærvidenskabelige tidsskrift for naturvidenskab. Det er det eneste blad af sin art i Danmark, som er helliget international forskning inden for livsvidenskaberne.

Bladet bringer aktuelle, spændende forskningsnyheder inden for biologi, medicin og andre naturvidenskabelige områder som f.eks. klimaændringer, nanoteknologi, partikelfysik, astronomi, seksualitet, biologiske våben, ecstasy, evolutionsbiologi, kloning, fedme, søvnforskning, muligheden for liv på mars, influenzaepidemier, livets opståen osv.

Artiklerne roses for at gøre vanskeligt stof forståeligt, uden at den videnskabelige holdbarhed tabes.
