I 2007 kunne Center for Autisme med støtte fra Sofiefonden og Landsforeningen Autisme flytte ind i en stor ejendom i Herlev, hvor der var plads til at samle et væld af forskellige aktiviteter fra morgen til sent på aftenen. Diagnosticering, rådgivning, international forskning, kurser, erhvervstræning, beskæftigelse, ungdomsuddannelser, netværksklubber, musik osv. for at at skabe et helhedstilbud til mennesker med autisme, som er unikt ikke blot i Danmark, men i hele verden. Centeret har bidraget til den faglige ekspertise på området, rådgivet familier og åbnet vejen til nye beskæftigelsesmuligheder og sociale relationer for autister og set livsglæden stige i unge med autisme, set gnisten tænde i deres øjne og deres talenter udvikle sig og at de voksede som mennesker.
